Women In Tech

The technology in our world is advancing more and more as we speak. Without technology, we cannot communicate with people across the globe, access the internet, read articles on recent news, and much more! Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer programming allow many applications to execute. In the technology field, more and more women are joining this career field. This has allowed the opportunity for many women to gain experiences and knowledge by working together and supporting each other along the way. Women in technology have also opened newer ideas and thoughts.

A nonprofit organization created by Reshma Saujani is a coding organization that is known as “Girls Who Code.” It allows for many girls to connect with each other for their passion for computer science and coding. This organization has helped many girls to learn new things and gain new experiences. New projects, ideas, and communication is all learned through this organization. There have been better advancements in the technology field due to women joining this career field. Many women all around the world have learned to code because of women empowering each other and helping each other to create coding projects and websites. 

Additionally, this club has also empowered many girls to join the computer science field in the future just by joining a club when they were younger. Coding is and will always be a part of the STEM field which is much needed for our society. Without, computer science websites, applications, and programs will not run without the use of different coding languages. For example, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTMl, CSS, etc. I am very much interested in technology and computer science and I encourage many to join the field of computer science. There are many fun ways to build interactive games just by writing lines of code!

In conclusion, Women in Tech have created a pathway for many girls to join the computer science field. Since women have joined the technology field it has made a big impact on certain projects and ideas. Without coding and computer science, our world would be completely different. Today, the advancement of the number of women in the technology field is growing rapidly which is then advancing the websites and apps many of us use today! Many women in the technology field are developing apps which can be useful to many people in everyday life. All in all, Women in Tech is a great opportunity for many women in the technology field as many women are having a greater chance of employability and newer experiences which will be gained through coding and collaboration in the workplace.
